A Town Board meeting of the Town of Marion, Wayne County, NY was held on Monday, October 6, 2025 at the Marion Town Court Room.
Supervisor, Summer Johnson called the meeting to order at 6:03pm and asked the Clerk of the Board to give a roll call.

Discussion: Tentative Budget. The Town Board only discussed the Tentative Budget.

The following were changes made to the budget. All changes were made with a motion/second and long roll vote of the Town Board members. These changes will go into the Preliminary budget.
On a Motion from Councilwoman Herman and second by Councilman Cramer, Line Item #10101.01.0.002 – Website Social Media was increased to $3,500. The long roll vote was as follows: Supervisor Johnson – Naye. Councilwoman Herman – aye, Councilman Cramer – aye, Councilman Lonneville – aye, Councilwoman Taber – aye. The motion was passed 4 ayes to 1 nays.
On a Motion from Councilman Cramer and second by Councilwoman Herman, Line Item #11101.01.0.239 – Deputy Court Clerk was removed from the Tentative Budget. The long roll vote was as follows: Supervisor Johnson – Aye. Councilwoman Herman – aye, Councilman Cramer – aye, Councilman Lonneville – aye, Councilwoman Taber – aye. The motion was passed 5 ayes.
On a Motion from Councilman Cramer and second by Councilman Lonneville, Line Item #10101.01.0.260 – PT-Senior Personnel Clerk, removal of this line in the tentative budget. The long roll vote was as follows: Supervisor Johnson – Naye. Councilwoman Herman – aye, Councilman Cramer – aye, Councilman Lonneville – aye, Councilwoman Taber – aye. The motion was passed 4 ayes to 1 nays.
On a Motion from Councilman Cramer and second by Councilwoman Herman, Line Item #12202.01.0.024 – Software Maint- Enchanced Fixed Assets was increased to $2,595. The long roll vote was as follows: Supervisor Johnson – Aye. Councilwoman Herman – aye, Councilman Cramer – aye, Councilman Lonneville – aye, Councilwoman Taber – aye. The motion was passed 5 ayes to 0 nays.
On a Motion from Councilman Lonneville and second by Councilman Cramer, Line Item #12204.01.0.025 – Computer Supplies was increased to $1,200. The long roll vote was as follows: Supervisor Johnson – Aye. Councilwoman Herman – aye, Councilman Cramer – aye, Councilman Lonneville – aye, Councilwoman Taber – aye. The motion was passed 5 ayes to 0 nays.
On a Motion from Councilwoman Herman and second by Councilman Cramer, Line Item #12204.01.0.108 Cell Phone Supervisor Clerk, was increased to $300. The long roll vote was as follows: Supervisor Johnson – Naye. Councilwoman Herman – aye, Councilman Cramer – aye, Councilman Lonneville – aye, Councilwoman Taber – aye. The motion was passed 4 ayes to 1 nays.
On a Motion from Councilman Cramer and second by Councilwoman Herman, Line Item #14101.01.0.036 – Deputy Town Clerk Full Time was increased to $32,110. The long roll vote was as follows: Supervisor Johnson – Aye. Councilwoman Herman – aye, Councilman Cramer – aye, Councilman Lonneville – aye, Councilwoman Taber – aye. The motion was passed 5 ayes to 0 nays.
On a Motion from Councilwoman Herman and second by Councilman Cramer, Line Item #14104.01.0.016 – Seminars/Schooling was increased to $2,000. The long roll vote was as follows: Supervisor Johnson – Aye. Councilwoman Herman – aye, Councilman Cramer – aye, Councilman Lonneville – aye, Councilwoman Taber – aye. The motion was passed 5 ayes to 0 nays.
On a Motion from Councilman Cramer and second by Councilman Lonneville, Line Item #14104.01.0.004 – Misc. was removed from the Tentative Budget. On a Motion from Councilwoman Herman and second by Councilman Lonneville, Line Item #73101.01.0.192 – Baseball Coordinator was increased to $3,000. On a Motion from Councilman Cramer and second by Councilman Lonneville, Line Item #xxxx(needs to be created) -Parttime Recreation Director was added to the tentative budget for $29,978. The long roll vote was as follows: Supervisor Johnson – Naye. Councilwoman Herman – aye, Councilman Cramer – aye, Councilman Lonneville – aye, Councilwoman Taber – aye. The motion was passed 4 ayes to 1 nays.
On a Motion from Councilman Lonneville and second by Councilwoman Taber, Line Item #75101.01.0.000 – Historian was decreased to $2,500. The long roll vote was as follows: Supervisor Johnson – Naye. Councilwoman Herman – aye, Councilman Cramer – aye, Councilman Lonneville – aye, Councilwoman Taber – aye. The motion was passed 4 ayes to 1 nays.
On a Motion from Councilwoman Herman and second by Councilman Cramer, Line Item #75104.01.0.004 – Misc. Education Projects was decreased to $500. The long roll vote was as follows: Supervisor Johnson –Aye. Councilwoman Herman – aye, Councilman Cramer – aye, Councilman Lonneville – aye, Councilwoman Taber – aye. The motion was passed 5 ayes to 0 nays.
On a Motion from Councilwoman Herman and second by Councilwoman Taber, Line Item #75104.01.0.028 – Office Supplies was decreased to $200. The long roll vote was as follows: Supervisor Johnson –Aye. With no further business, on a motion by Councilwoman Herman and seconded by Councilman Cramer, Supervisor Johnson closed the meeting at 8:26pm.
