Resolution #1 Authorization to schedule Public Hearing to Utilize Sewer Reserve Funds

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board authorizes the Clerk of the Board to advertise in the legal newspaper for the Town of Marion that a Public Hearing will be held on Monday December 8, 2025 @ 6:30 P.M. at the Marion Court Room for the purpose of authorizing the appropriation of an amount up to $10,000.00 from the Marion Sewer Reserve Fund for the purpose of MRB Group to create an RFP for demolition of the decommissioned Marion Sewer Plant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED The Marion Town Board directs the Clerk of the Board to give a copy of this resolution to the MRB Group and the Principal Account Clerk.
Resolution #2 Award Proposal for Sealing of Parking Lots

WHEREAS, Kathleen Cauwels, Principal Account Clerk obtained proposals to apply asphalt sealer to the park parking lot, municipal parking lot (next to school), municipal Parking Lot (next to museum) and the library parking lot; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board awards the application of the driveway sealing to _____________, not to exceed $_______ to be expended out the general fund.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED The Marion Town Board directs the Clerk of the Board to give a copy of this resolution to the ____________ and the Principal Account Clerk.
Resolution #3 Authorization to schedule public hearing for local law #2 Expand residency requirements for Deputy Town Clerk

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board authorizes the Clerk of the Board to advertise in the legal newspaper for the Town of Marion that a Public Hearing will be held on Monday December 8, 2025 @ 6:30 P.M. at the Marion Court Room for the purpose of Local Law #2 for 2025 to Expand the Residency requirements for the position of Marion Deputy Town Clerk.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board authorizes appointing Nora Craft, 5197 Mason Rd. Marion, NY to the Board of Assessment Review for a term of 11/24/2025 – 9/30/2030; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board directs the Clerk of the Board to give a copy of this resolution to Nora Craft, Mike Rados, Adrienne Compton, and the Principal Account Clerk.
Resolution #5 Award Bid to Young Explosives for Bicentennial Fireworks Display

WHEREAS, Kathleen Cauwels, Principal Account Clerk sent an RFP for the purpose of fireworks display for the Bicentennial Celebration and received 1 proposal from Young Explosives for a 10 to 15 minute display for a cost of $5,000; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board Authorizes the Town Supervisor to sign the contract and place a deposit for $2,500 by December 12, 2025; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED The Marion Town Board directs the Clerk of the Board to give a copy of this resolution to the Young Explosives and the Principal Account Clerk.
Resolution #6 Authorization to Accept Proposal General Code to Update Code Book

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board approves and accepts the proposal from General Code to update the Code book for the Town of Marion not to exceed $3,195 to be appropriated from the account # 14204.01.0.239; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that $2,000 to be expensed from 2025 budget with $1,195 to be expensed in 2026; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED The Marion Town Board directs the Clerk of the Board to give a copy of this resolution to the General Code and the Principal Account Clerk.
Resolution #7 Authorization to schedule Public Hearing to Transfer Library Equipment Reserve Funds

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board authorizes the Clerk of the Board to advertise in the legal newspaper for the Town of Marion that a Public Hearing will be held on Monday December 8, 2025 @ 6:30 P.M. at the Marion Court Room for the purpose of transferring Library Equipment Reserve Funds from the Town of Marion to the Marion Public Library; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED The Marion Town Board directs the Clerk of the Board to give a copy of this resolution to the Tracy Whitney, Library Director and the Principal Account Clerk.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board approves and accepts the proposal from Bonadio & Co. for the purpose of a Marion Court Audit for an expense not to exceed $3,400 to be appropriated from the account # 13204.01.0.190; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board Authorizes the Supervisor to sign the approved contract; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED The Marion Town Board directs the Clerk of the Board to give a copy of this resolution to the Bonadio & Co. and the Principal Account Clerk.
