TOWN BOARD Meeting Notes

Monday, September 29, 2022
A Town Board meeting of the Town of Marion, Wayne County, NY was held on Monday, September 29, 2022 at the Marion Municipal Room.
Supervisor Bender called the meeting to order at 9:30 am with a roll call done by Heidi Levan, Clerk of the Board.
PRESENT: Jolene Bender, Supervisor
LaVerne Bliek, Councilman
Ronald Lonneville, Councilman
Julie Herman, Councilwoman
Michael Cramer, Councilman

Supervisor Bender asked everyone to stand and give the Pledge of Allegiance.
The Town Board met and discussed the following resolutions.
Resolution #9192022 Award Service Agreement with Access Elevator
On a motion by Councilman Bliek and seconded by Councilman Lonneville
ADOPTED: Long Roll:

Councilwoman Herman – Aye
Supervisor Bender – Aye

The following resolution was adopted
WHEREAS, Councilman Lonneville, obtained proposals to service the elevator located at the town museum, Jennie’s House; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board awards the service agreement to Access Elevator; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED directs the Clerk of the Board to give a copy of this resolution to the Councilman Lonneville, Access Elevator and the Principal Account Clerk.
Resolution #9202022 Award Service Agreement with Split Rite for Tree Removal
On a motion by Councilman Bliek and seconded by Councilman Cramer

The following resolution was adopted
WHEREAS, Councilman Lonneville, obtained proposals to remove trees for the sidewalk project located on North Main St.; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board awards the bid to remove trees to Split Rite not to exceed $3000.00; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED directs the Clerk of the Board to give a copy of this resolution to the Councilman Lonneville, Split Rite and the Principal Account Clerk.
On a motion from Councilman Lonneville and seconded by Councilman Cramer, the Marion Town Board went into Executive session to discuss the employment history of a specific person at 9:35am. The Board came out of Executive session at 10am and closed the meeting at 10:01 on a motion from Councilman Bliek and seconded by Councilwoman Herman.
